Are the mounts suitable for in-motion use?
Of course, our mounts are designed to be used in motion and feature four (4) powerful neodymium magnets to secure them in place.
Can the mounts be used at highway speed or on rough roads?
Yes, the four (4)magnets , if being used, each have a pull force of 18kg (72kg in total) If mounted correctly the mount will be held securely.
Can the mounts be used on roof racks, roof top tents or caravans?
Yes, the mount has four (4) additional M6 holes mounting holes to give flexible mount options. If the magnetic feet are removed this adds another four (4) mounting holes giving you a total of eight (8) M6 sized holes for custom mounting.
Will the mount scratch the paintwork?
No, The magnetic feet are covered in a soft and durable rubber like material. Provided you wipe the surface and magnetic feet prior to installation the mount will not damage the surface it is placed on.
What are the weight and dimensions of the mini mounts?
The full weight of the Dishy Mini Mount is 1.3kg. The approximate dimensions In millimetres
300W x 70H x350L (or 310L with the handle removed).
